Meet the Staff

Meet Dee Jay, The Wife Extraordinaire! She is the office administrator. Dee Jay attended Lawton Medical Assistance College from 1969-1970. In 1971 she became an x-ray technician. She then worked as a cardiac technician for 10 years. Then she was introduced to Dr. Sweet by his sister-in-law, whom Dee Jay had worked around. They married, Dee Jay left the medical feild and helped Dr. Sweet set up his practice. In the early 1980's, Dee Jay became the Vice President for the California Chiropractic Association Auxillary. 

Then the kids came! Final score 3 boys 2 girls. Total yes 5! She took time away from the office to be a stay at home, homeschool mom. Since the kids are grown (youngest finishing his last year in high school), Dee Jay has returned to the office full time (and half).

Meet Matt and Jenni! Matt is the son-in-law, he attended the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Co. After he graduated from Empire College with a degree in computer security, he worked as a network administrator for 3 years. Then he fell in love with the principles and philosophy of Chiropractic. Currently he is working at Chiropractic Care full time and is taking weekend science classes to fulfill prerequisites to start chiropractic college in Jan. 2010.

Jenni is the daughter of Dr. Sweet and Dee Jay. She is the youngest patient Dr. Sweet has ever adjusted (45 minutes old). She has recently graduated from Sacramento State with a BS in Criminal Justice. She has been married to Matt for 4 years. And is planning on attending chiropractic college with Matt. She has worked at Chiropractic Care since her sophmore year in high school.

Matt and Jenni love spending time together and playing with their baby girl, Jersey (a puggle).

Meet Maria! Maria was born in Guadalajara, Jal, Mexico. Maria and her family moved to Petaluma when she was 4-years-old. After graduating from Petaluma High School, Maria worked as a biligual assistant for public elementary schools in Petaluma for 12 years. During this time she met her wonderful husband, Charles. They have been married for 9 years. They have 2 beautiful boys, Charlie and Leo. The family loves spending time with each other, and their baby, Blakee (a black lab).   

For the past two years Maria has been a wonderful addition to Chiropractic Care. She is a caring, loving, helpful person. She is a person of high integrity, has a passion for helping people and loves new adventures.

This is Rachel. She is the newest Sweet. She is married to the middle son, Jeremy. Rachel is one of the most kind hearted people anyone will ever meet. She is reponsible for the reminder calls. So if you don't get your call..... you know who to blame!
